This programme is ideal for those aiming to earn qualifications and licenses in technical and business fields through a mix of studying and hands-on experience. You'll follow industry standards and get the chance to work with new technologies. If you're new to the industry, no worries! You'll begin at the Infrastructure Skills Centre, where you'll learn the basics before joining a team to expand your skills further.
About the Infrastructure Skills Centre:
Successful applicants will spend three weeks at the Infrastructure Skills Centre, where they'll gain essential skills and knowledge to kick off a meaningful career at Fulton Hogan. This program lets you earn money while you learn, using practical methods to teach you how to work safely, and become an effective team member. Keep in mind, if you're accepted into the Cadetship, you'll be offered a permanent full-time position at Fulton Hogan right from the start of the three-week programme.
Candidate criteria:
- Understanding of Civil Construction (If none, that’s ok we are holding seminars for this, see below)
- Interest in developing a career in the industry
- No Industry experience (only new to industry people)
- No Qualification required
- Drivers Licence – Minimum Class 1 Restricted
- Be able to get to site or location of work / have their own transport
- Able to work Night & Weekends when required
- Basic Maths and English
- Physical Requirements - must be able to lift 0 to 30kgs
- Medical Requirements - Pass Full Medical / Drug & Alcohol
- Background Checks – Ministry of Justice & Drivers Licence (any history is at Regional Manager discretion)
- Be able to complete the full training programme.
