Precasters & Trowellers / Concrete Finishers – Oct/Nov Start

We are currently seeking hard-working and reliable Precasters for an immediate start. This role guarantees a minimum of 30 hours per week and involves working 5 ½ days per week, Monday to Saturday, so availability for weekends is essential.

The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with concrete products, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Role Responsibilities – Precasters

  • Prepare moulds, insert precast components, pour concrete, and vibrate.

  • Clear and strip tables from previous day’s production, maintaining a clean floor and recycling waste where possible.

  • Assist in setting up formwork to drawings, ensuring it is square and stable.

  • Secure cast-in items according to drawings (weld plates, RBs, drossbachs, etc.).

  • Use and complete siliconing and oiling processes.

  • Tie reinforcing in panels and place lifters to ensure safe and correct lifting.

  • Ensure appropriate cover for reinforcing.

  • Participate in training on equipment use and precast skills, including carpentry, reinforcing, and reading shop drawings.

  • Apply finishing techniques to concrete surfaces, ensuring a smooth, high-quality finish.

  • Work efficiently alongside the precast team to meet production schedules.

  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
