Concrete Precasters Finishers and Plasterers

We are seeking hard-working, reliable Precasters and Trowellers/Concrete Finishers on behalf of an employer based in Auckland.

What’s on offer:

  • Guaranteed minimum 30 hours per week

  • Work week: Monday to Saturday (5 ½ days) – weekend availability is essential

  • Start date: October / November

  • Positions available: 10 Precasters and 3 Trowellers / Concrete Finishers

Role responsibilities include:

  • Preparing moulds, inserting precast components, pouring concrete, and vibrating

  • Clearing and stripping tables from previous day’s production, recycling waste where possible

  • Assisting in formwork set-up to drawings, ensuring formwork is square and stable

  • Securing cast-in items (weld plates, RBs, drossbachs etc.)

  • Completing siliconing and oiling

  • Tying reinforcing in panels and placing lifters safely for lifting

  • Checking reinforcing cover is appropriate

  • Taking part in training for equipment use, precast skills, carpentry, reinforcing, and reading shop drawings

What we’re looking for:

  • Some hands-on experience with concrete products (preferred)

  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality

  • Willingness to learn and upskill
