About the Role:
Ventia is delivering a service to Auckland City Council that covers public space cleaning, waste collection, and maintenance. We’re looking for reliable and hard-working team members to join our Sanitation and Waste team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Litter collection, bin emptying, and general street and park cleaning

  • Removing graffiti, fly-tipping, weeds, and animal waste

  • Sweeping roads and public areas

  • Using equipment and vehicles safely and effectively

  • Transporting waste to designated disposal sites

  • Keeping areas clean, tidy, and well-maintained

  • Following instructions and working well with others

  • Reporting safety issues and following health & safety procedures

  • Wearing the correct uniform and PPE

  • Attending training and toolbox talks

  • Representing Ventia positively at all times

Important:

  • You must report to the Mount Wellington depot to collect your work vehicle.

  • A Manual Class 1 driver’s license is essential.
